How Establishing a Brand Loyalty Plan Will Aid in Rising Your Business

Filed under: Marketing Stuff — admin @ 11:48 pm

A great deal of companies today are following up with diverse customer loyalty programs to ensure larger benefits for their firms. This may seem to be rather a worn idea already for a customer loyalty program but individuals, no matter how loaded they are, actually enjoy taking freebies every often.

Let’s try to further talk about the reasoning behind this customer loyalty program. By implementing a rewards-based client loyalty plan which ICLP Loyalty is known for, the client will love spending more on your businesses due to your companies promise that the larger points that a loyal customer receives from their purchases the bigger the pays back that they will soon gain from the businesses. From receiving free dear designer goods to even an all-expenses paid grand vacation trip on behalf of the company.

It really shouldn?t be an issue, in reality it’s a small measure to pay considering the days of loyal buys that these clients have brought in to your company. For the most part, this all seems perfect in writing, but a truly superior loyalty program doesn’t just coddle clients, it entices them to stay shopping at your company, or even tell their friends about it, offering your firm some priceless word-of-mouth advertising.

A less fancy customer loyalty plans is the rebate plan. This is when the customer has an option to get a portion back from the sum of their buys as coupons that they are able to apply to purchase more products from your business. It genuinely is a smoother client loyalty plan as equated to the rewards system. Not only will it be simpler on your company’s wallets, it will also give your firm many contributed profits because through the rebate client loyalty program your clients will, in the end, end up splashing more on your firm because the coupons cannot be exchanged for real money or utilized anywhere else. In reality, in that respect is no real motivator for customers to use the programme.

A bunch of people nonetheless view being able to offer your faithful clients with essential service does not automatically insure a firm that their customers will stay. This is why on that point there is a good need for an able client commitment program. While marvellous client service can ensue in a client creating a purchase on a recurring basis, a well-designed client loyalty platform will secure they wouldn’t even ever dream of going to your competitors, and in fact, would even urge acquaintances to apply for your services.

Google, Conservative SEOs Oppose Pagerank Sculpting

Filed under: Biz Stuff, Marketing Stuff — admin @ 4:46 pm

A war of ideals is raging through the search engine optimization industry. On the one side are search engines like Google and fundamental-minded search engine optimization experts like Vanessa Fox, Shari Thurow, Jill Whalen, Adam Audette, Michael Martinez, and others. On the other side are well-known SEO pundits like Rand Fishkin, Brent Payne, and Eric Enge. The issue: Pagerank sculpting. Pagerank sculpting advocates say that by hiding links from search engines you can improve your search results. Is that the truth or just another SEO boondoggle (as Jill Whalen puts it)?

Pagerank sculpting was first attempted by Google itself, according to Google engineer Matt Cutts, who says they prevented new video listings on YouTube from leeching inordinate amounts of Pagerank off the popular domain’s front page. Video submissions scroll through YouTube’s root URL very quickly and so are not really very important, but if Googlebot catches a video listing there when it crawls the page, that listing will get some of YouTube’s highest value Pagerank. Some SEOs like Dan Thies and Rand Fishkin concluded that static links to important but secondary pages should be blocked in a similar way (by using the controversial “rel=’nofollow’” link attribute) to preserve Pagerank for the rest of the site.

Although this argument seemed reasonable to some folks in the SEO industry, critics like Thurow and Martinez baked it seven different ways from Sunday. Thurow predicted that Pagerank sculpting would be devalued by Google and other search engines. Martinez said this was just the failed notion of Pagerank hoarding come back in a new form. Pagerank hoarding suggests you can prevent Pagerank from passing to other sites by either not linking to them or by hiding your links from search engines. But Pagerank is designed to flow out from a site regardless of whether you link out. You cannot hoard Pagerank.

Therefore Pagerank sculpting received a very dubious welcome by fundamentalists. Why put “unimportant” pages on a site at all? they asked. Pagerank sculpting SEO providers claimed for about 2 years that their tests and studies showed that there were significant positive gains to be realized from Pagerank sculpting. And then in the summer months of 2009 Matt Cutts announced that so many Websites were hurting from Pagerank sculpting that — more than a year previously — Google had to change how it assigns Pagerank to help preserve the important pages that were being lost from the search index.

That should have been the end of that, but it wasn’t. Michael Martinez writes on the Best SEO Blog that some people in the industry are still pitching the value of Pagerank sculpting — which he now equates with a scam. Since the SEO industry has been formally advised that Pagerank sculpting only hurts Websites, any attempt to sell Pagerank sculpting services must be greeted with great ethical skepticism. And to make matters worse, Pagerank sculpting SEOs have developed new methods for hiding links that Google may not be able to counter.

How to Prepare a Live Event Production

Filed under: Marketing Stuff — admin @ 5:40 am

Although everybody is certain to experience some troubles from time to time while preparing for an event, there are a number of faults that shouldn’t be made. So it’s the case that event production is all about anticipating all that can go wrong. In order to make sure all goes as smoothly as possible, write a “to do” list to ensure you haven’t forgotten any of the vital points of planning an event. The points below are simply example problems to prepare for. Therefore, it’s essential to plan for all possible issues - don’t take the following as a completed list.

Before signing a contract, ensure the event doesn’t happen on the day of an important sporting event or a public holiday. Check when school holidays are, as parents may have planned a holiday during that time. It is fundamental that you confirm the event date with all individuals to check that everyone knows the time and location of the event.

Visit the location before booking it. It may be hard to have the time to make the trip, but this truly is a necessity. By viewing the venue prior to the event, you ensure your apprehension of the physical size, the atmosphere, and the level of trouble in actually getting to the venue. It’ll also help you in producing precise directions and maps for your invitees, and permit you to know the people you’ll be working with at the location.

Get specific - don’t agree to a contract unless it is suitably thorough in its terms and conditions. It is insufficient to just expect unclear words to mean the same thing to both parties. Whenever doable, state all the prices, dates and times in the contract. E.g., if a location is undergoing refurbishment, it should be defined clearly when this renovation work will be finished.

Plan ahead. Create various contingency plans in the event your initial plan of action just won’t be feasible with the budget or timing. Never take for granted that all will run without a hitch. Go over all details at least twice and make checklists to help keep you on track.

Job Hunting Using the Web to Win

The Internet offers huge opportunities for a job seeker, but also presents several possible challenges. It also adds great complexities, and a lot more matters to think about…and be mindful of.

Job hunting needs to be thought of as a personal, highly directed marketing process where you are the product. Your resume is an advertisement. Your extended network of colleagues is your source for job information.

So where does the internet fit in? At AA-Careers, we just posted a job on Craigslist and got 600+ applications in a calendar week. For a single job. That’s increased competition for jobs.

Had a strong person contacted us before we posted the ad, they could have secured the position before having all that competition. How? By knowing an employee at our company who became aware of the job prior to posting. Everyone was aware of the job for at least 12 days before it was posted. Who in your network might know of a job that’s coming available soon?

Be careful how you submit your application as well. When we did an analysis of the 650 resumes, we found a large number of errors. 63% of the applicants were easily removed with a fast-paced triage process. How? The same way any manager would. By eliminating resumes where the objective didn’t match our job description. By rejecting candidates whose cover letters gave us reasons not to employ them, like "I know I’m overqualified but I really need a job". By eliminating job hunters whose documents that didn’t open properly. And by rejecting candidates who didn’t bother to spell check their cover letter and/or resume.

So the great news is that job boards give you a feel of what companies are hiring, and for what kinds of positions. But once those jobs are posted, the competition is intense. You can still try, if you have a well honed resume, designed to appeal directly and clearly to the recruiter. And if you have practiced interviewing – so you don’t stumble at a critical point.

Another issue to be aware of is how quickly and easily you can be checked on on the web. As we Googled several candidates, we ran into some Facebook comments that were in questionable taste. Nothing insane, but enough to swing our thinking about who to employ.

AA-Careers provides a comprehensive set of services for Bay Area job seekers, providing our clients a personal career consultant, a managed job hunting campaign, modern tools like a personal website, video, highly targeted resume, and much more. Let us know if we can help you.

Be careful out there, and good hunting!

Making the Most of Your Quality Car Insurance Leads

Filed under: Marketing Stuff, Road Trippers — admin @ 4:24 am

The greater the number of leads that are open to you, the larger the number of selling opportunities you have. Turning prospects into sales is up to you. There’s no magic formula for this. You must ensure that you spend available time on the inquiries that are serious and to do this in a way that will increase your chances of turning every lead into a sale. To help you do this, here are a couple of suggestions to make your task less problematic. When individuals ask for more information on the internet, a substantial number are not really in the market for insurance. They are simply surfing and looking for an incredible price. Some inquiries from the net really are generated by junk e-mail or automatic requests. In general these queries end up as a lot of work and not a lot of money. It is easy to see why the best quality leads are of paramount importance.

Individuals who are asking for new insurance or want alterations to their existing insurance policy are by and large the best leads. These people are ready to commit without much effort. So then, what might be the best way to recognize the leads who are prepared to purchase? When you get any prospects it’s a good idea to file all of them according to various criteria, e.g. the date they require a new insurance policy on. It is also a good idea to start with those queries with the most estimated profit too. Selling insurance is much easier to do when the buyer has recently submitted their request for a quotation. Persuading the customer to buy isn’t usually essential in these cases. In fact, successful sales representatives who purchase automobile insurance leads say they only reply with a quote to the customer, and that’s it. So do not allow your hot leads to cool off before contacting them.

The importance of dealing with the lead properly should never be overlooked. Attach a quotation, give them any extra information they may have requested and do it in a timely fashion. In case the customer has requested information concerning deductible options, take care to include them in their quotation. As you can see, changing insurance prospects into profits is actually all about working efficiently and in a manner that profits both you and the lead the most.

Investing In The Physical Or Virtual Real Estate World with Bryan Ellis

Filed under: Biz Stuff, Marketing Stuff, Real Estate Resources — admin @ 7:54 pm

Landlords and rehabbers take notice - you may soon be focused on the new concepts of “Virtual Real Estate Investing“. There are many variations on what this term means, encompassing everything from using the internet to aid in real estate investing efforts to participating in online games such as SecondLife.

To get the facts, I sought out the man generally considered to be the father of virtual real estate investing: Bryan Ellis of BryanEllis.com.

When I began using the term virtual real estate investing in the late 1990s, I did so because I saw clear parallels between the strategies used for profiting from physical real estate and those that would create income in the online world, said Ellis.

An example of the similar nature of “virtual” and “physical” real estate Bryan Ellis likes to point out is the methods of making a profit from domain names compared to physical real estate. “There’s a huge difference between a website and a piece of real estate, but the ways you can profit from them are similar: ‘flipping’, rental/leasing, advertising sales, etc…all of these apply to both markets” he states.

I must admit: Its easy to see the parallels. After all, if you own a valuable piece of real estate, it’s “valuable” because other people are interested in that specific piece of property. Likewise, if you own a desirable domain name, others will find value in it because it serves their purposes. In either case, you could sell or lease the asset and turn it into cash.

In our next installment of this series on virtual real estate investing, Bryan Ellis will share the internet analogies to the physical concept of real estate development.
