Ever wondered what happened to the daytimes of leg warmers, side ponytails, and shoulder pads? Surprise Yes! You are able to bring it back once again (for at least a night) with this trendy theme party. Somehow it looks that the 80s have become a charming decennium to recreate. Possibly it’s the cheap dressing or the fantastically silly large hair, or possibly it is the unforgettable music produced by the setters of those curious 80s trends. Hold a completely rad 80s smash with kitsch neon decorations, awesomely insane hair, and 80s themed drinks. When it comes to the 80s, the coarser the better - so get ready to party hardy! Now all you need to do is do “The Breakfast Club” in the background, and everyone will be so splendid in (bright) pink.

It’s time to get genuinely excessive with the decorations! Here, are a couple of no-fail party ideas: Round up anything you can find in light colors. Balloons, celebration pennants, paper plates and napkins. Now is the time to break out those hot pink and lime green banners you’ve been saving. Music brought a tremendous purpose in the 80s. If you still own cassette tapes and vinyl records, take them out and function them to create funky centrepieces. Fulfil bowls with cassette tapes or utilize record album covers to ornament the tables. Sketches and video games were also huge in the 80s. Select a beloved character and use it as the theme for every table. One table can be covered in He-Man statuettes, while some other is strictly My Little Pony. Get imaginative, it’ll be festive to reminisce. Supply additional pizzazz to your delightful 80’s beverages with brightly colored bendy stalks and playful trims, like plastic animals and flashing ice cubes.

Welcome the luau guests into your place by requesting them to kick off their shoes and decompress. Occupy a bucket or boxful adjacent to the front doorway with cost-effective pairs of rubber flip flops in various sizes. As invitees arrive, ask them to substitute their shoes with a couple of cozy flip flops, and let them know that they can take the duo they pick out home as a party favour. Invitees will love the gesture, and the removal of shoes also nods to the Japanese custom that many Hawaiians follow. After your celebration invitees have put on their vibrant new flip flops, hand them a wreath to put on throughout the luau as well.
