It can be really difficult when you lose a tooth, and there are various reasons why this can happen. The second visit will be to put the implant into place. This will require local anesthetic and a small incision in your gum to insert the metal into your gum. Once this is in place you will need to wait until your jawbone bonds to the implant. Usually it will takes two to three months for this to happen.

Now for the most exciting visit the day that the tooth is put in. You will be walking out of the dentist office this time filled with joy because that insecurity that you felt each and every time that you smiled. This will be the day that you remember for a long time, the day that you got your confidence and self esteem back.

There are many great advantages to having dental implants put in. The main benefit is that they comfortable and feel completely natural. Of course this is only one of the many benefits. A dental implant has the capability of holding more than one artificial tooth without the need of additional procedures.
